Hey guys, I just thought I'd ask round here, just what offroad really is to you. I mean, its a question tht is often asked, but what are YOUR thoughts (not the thougths of some other joe schmoe that you just wanna regurgutate to make yourself sound intellectual)

Off road should be bumpy. I'm not talking about jumps here but undulations, potholes and some serious camber changes. It should be a track which no touring car will ever get around. Too many times I hear people moaning about the track being difficult and bumpy and that really annoys me. If we are racing off road then lets make it like off road is, not make it flat like boring cars.

I don't care about the surface, over here most of the tracks are grass in varying states of wear. So long as the track is a good combination of challenge and fun then it's OK with me.

For the only permanent 'dirt' track in the UK go to www.remoteworld.co.uk

It is holding the 1/8th rallycross Euros next year and is certainly bumpy if nothing else...

Just as a matter of asking, the 2003 Offroad Worlds are going to be at the Minnreg RC Club Raceway in sunny Florida. If (hypothetically) you were called upon to design the course for them, what would it look like (post drawings, CADs, whatever)
