nothing new here but we are looking to start a 1/10 4wd class for the winter as more people are interested.

Main thing with the vehicle would be to get the exotek wing mounts for durability.

Thanks for the update. In regards to wing mounts I've got 2 wing mounts in my spare parts, I will try to get the exotek ones then.

In the meantime share some pics :-), I will do with my car soon.

Is it possible to make this car "slipper-only", no middle diff?
Can you do this with parts of the desc410 perhaps??

this is what you want in addition to what else they say is needed:

http://www.team-durango.com/part-inf...artNo=TD210008

Or, I am thinking at a minimum you need (assuming other parts already in kit as they show those as "standard" parts):

TD310018 - Mid drive clamp
TD310426 - UJ MidFront x 2
TD210037 - Two way slipper fixings
TD210036 - Two Way Slipper Hubs

About $80 to do this based on some discounts I am seeing included.

you may also want some better slipper pads, I use some rcshox garolite discs, but I think the Mckune pads look to be quite similar (I have then sitting NIB here).

TD310121 from the DESC410R is an option if you can find it, otherwise the kit does include a composite one shown in the pic below.
It's the part in front of the rear middle brace

Ran my DEX410V5 all day at the track today and it held up great. Such a freaking fast, easy to drive car out of the box. I have had an issue with the the shock eyelets ripping off the shock shaft 2x's now. I bought the 10.00 parts tree to get 2 more but ended up picking the TA B6 Eyelets (PN91721): http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXGCNR&P=Z

Which work just fine and you get 8 for 6.00 rather than pay 10.00 for 2. Not sure why i've had two pull out (I put grease on them when i threaded them in) but maybe I just tightened them down too far originally or something. Regardless, now the replacements are at least cheap.

Other than that no issues or complaints with the car. Super fun car to drive!

First night out with the new v5. It is nice! Much smoother then the v4. If you thought about pulling the trigger on this one do not hesitate. I had 60,000 wt in the center diff. I was running super soft dirt Webs in the front and Super soft Electrons in the rear.

yeah the parts tree thing to get eyelets is kind of annoying but now there are two options for eyelets, with the B6 one you mentioned and the intech ones as well.
