Tires for the surface/track you are running on. A good fast steering servo, good radio.

Most modern 1/10 scale buggies don't need much upgrading. What they may benefit from is model specific. Please search for the thread for which ever model you have or are interested in.

Avoid thinking a bunch of aluminum and such upgrades are needed, most are just bling and are not really needed. Some even degrade performance and durability.

Practice practice then practice some more is the best upgrade.

Need more info on what kit you are running with. Tires/servo/motor would be a good start assuming you are running with an RTR kit and are looking to get some extra performance.
