Default Radio Question

What would be a better radio for off road racing. I have an older Futaba 3PK with a spektrum module in it, and a newer 3PL. I know the 3PK has a ton more options as far as settings but as far as response time what would be best.

What feels best in your hand? Go with that radio. Honestly the difference in radio speeds is something I doubt 90 percent of people will actually notice.

Its called the placebo effect and nearly every time you buy something new you will think it is better/helping you in some way.

I'm guessing that at least 90 people don't have any knowledge of the 3PL but...I have the 3PK w/Fassst for a long time and love it. Sooner or later you may want the extra options it has. Don't know what the 3PL has for options.

On the 3pl I did a battery pack at the local off road track with friends car. Didn't like it at all. Rubber wheel didn't feel right to me and the steering and trigger springs where to stiff for my preference.
