Default HPI nitro MT...engine and clutch question

I just got a HPI nitro MT for free from my friend. I got fuel and a glow plug for it and got it running. But it was making a funny noise and leaking pretty bad from the front seal (end of motor where clutch is). It has the 15fe on it and I took it all apart today, and it appears that the clutch is pretty much toast since is came out in multiple pieces.

Is the drum around the clutch suppost to have material on it or just metal?

Should I get a new motor and clutch or just a new clutch and new seal for engine (if you can even get the seal)? Seems like a waste to put $ in the 15fe.

Also any suggestions an where to buy those parts would be great.

Get a new motor and clutch and save yourself a lot of trouble. Use part from the Nitro MT2
