Default Jconcepts dirt tech VS red AKA insert?

How do do they compare in hardness?

Thanks.

The Dirt Web inserts are firmer for sure than the AKA inserts which do have a softer feel.

The AKAs will provide a tad more grip as they are a tad softer, but they aren't lasting NEARLY as long as the dirt techs are these days. The dirt tech inserts, considering how long they last and the fact that they come with the jcon tires at a pretty decent price, is a no brainer.

I also prefer the flatter design of the dirttech inserts.

The Dirt Tech inserts are a decent amount firmer then the AKA Red. But they are softer then the AKA Black, almost right in between. But the problem with the AKA red is that they feel great when breaking a tire in but by the time the tire is broke in the foams are already starting to go. I prefer to just always run the Dirt tech and if you need to soften your foams/tires put some liquid wrench Blue or yellow on depending on how much you need to soften them

I think you're onto something, because the last set of AKA reds were crazy powdery brand new.
