I believe 76 tooth is the smallest spur gear possible with the HDS pads, 72 and lower i know you have to use the non-hds spurs and pads.

I use an AE 72t spur that I had lying around. The HDS pads will need a slight trim, but it works.

Does the losi laydown body fit with the exotek laydown box?

So how good does this rocket handle out of the box on a medium grip dusty track? Im about to put mine together and was wondering if there are any mods I should do?

Exotek designed the tranny for the stock hubs. The diff is raised slightly for running at lower ride height. So My guess and from what I have seen in running It. The exotek would be closer to the TLR dirt laydown tranny rather then the one in the laydown kit. So you may see better performance from regular roll centers. Some one did post in a previous post that they e-mailed Exotek and they said that the +3 hubs would work with their tranny.
I understand using the TLR laydown kit the +3mm rear hubs and the front kick plate mod is needed to move the roll center up so you can run a lower ride height. So, I'm thinking that I can go down a few mms using the Exotek, but not sure. Any thoughts from you jeti masters out there?
