The diff spins free, and the idler and input shaft/gear spin free, but put together, something is just a little bit off, and I can't find it for some reason. Tried running the case with the bolts loosened, no difference.

The car handles great, but this trans issue is a bit frustrating. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Thanks!
How many shims are under the outdrive bearings? or maybe you didn't need to shim it. I had 1 to many shims to get the side play out of the gear diff and it caused a bind...removed 1 and all was good

Default Bodies

Can anyone confirm if the kyosho RB6 body will fit the V3 FM chassis? I like the Sweep racing bodies, but they do not make one for this chassis. I just got my V3 FM and cant wait to run it. Hope to have my radio in the next week or so. Thanks for any input.

Have actually moved to racing a laydown-transmission FM on dirt after previously running a 3-gear standup layout - and it can work very well!

Just took the TQ and win at the local racing series in 2WD mod with the V3 FM. The latest version now has new parts like the separate front machined kick-up plate and the aluminum rear hubs with new geometry.

Here's a Facebook post on my experiences running the FM on dirt!

Pretty durable little buggy. Found them accidentally while trying to locate a lay down trans case that may fit my dex210 buggies and went ahead and got one. Pretty equal lap times with my b6 and my X-ray carpet edition buggies that I run on turf ( my skill level is not the highest but with it I equaled the lap times I was doing with both above mentioned buggies ) In case anyone is gonna thow a fit , I'm not saying it's better than my other brand buggies, just that it was as equally easy for me to drive as the other ones. Last Sunday was first track day I had with it and was pleased. Well balanced in the technical parts of the track but found the front a bit light up front , the nose wanted to point to the sky at every jump way too easy but working with throttle helped. Gonna add some weight up front and do some small tweaks and try again in a couple of weeks. Parts are available so I'm not worried bout running out.
