On-Road Rally Compatable Cars?
Any suggestions guys? I get an electric belt or shaft drive rally car. I can always change the suspension ect. Just was curious what car would be best?

The Tamiya TB01 is a popular platform for a rally car since its sealed up well. If your going to be running on something like a hardpacked clean track something like a TC4 or a TC3 would be a good platform. Shaft drive is defiantely preferable for rally since its sealed much better.

i own an hpi rs4 rally, and i think that its the only 1/10 scale electric rally car that actually does well in off road conditions. other "rally" cars that i have seen all seem to be regular touring cars with a rally body (or tires in some cases) and still are very low to the ground, and have short on-road shocks. but tha hpi rs4 rally has higher ground clearance, longer shocks, and an inner body cover that keeps dirt out of the belt drive. of course in addition to the rally specific tires.
it can actually jump pretty well too.

Losi released at one time a Rally Weapon. Based off the popular Street Weapon TC, it had more travel, bigger shocks, and "rally" block style tires. I just sold one, lol.

hmmm... does losi still make the "rally weapon"? or did they discontinue it like the rs4 rally? i still cant understand why they discontinued the rs4 rally.
