That's a lame statement. I would much rather have a car that keeps progressing every year. I'm much happier with my xb4 16 over my 14. That's ok you can have fun with your kit that only updates every 3 years. Also nobody is forcing you to upgrade. It's an option that I am very glad is offered. Enjoy your original iPhone because you didn't like upgrading that every year also.

Is it possible I am interpreting the pictures correctly? It appears that you will be able to remove the differential assembly without taking out and splitting apart the whole gearbox? It looks like a composite cap to cover the diff portion. If this is true, Kudos Xray. Fantastic idea......

One significant last-minute change was the change of the chassis design to allow the mounting of two different gearboxes and motor mount holders that would allow placement of the motor in all 3 different positions so the car worked great in every single track condition including the dusty super-low traction conditions or super-high traction astro tracks. This was one of the main features that I really like and I am sure everyone else will appreciate on the production car.

Don't forget that some people like to have a new car every season, so to be able to get an updated car you know, isn't a bad thing. Better then buying the same car that is getting more & more out of date.

You don't "have" to upgrade every year at all, I'm still running my 2013 XB4 to good results.

And iphones? really talk about cheap POS's.. Android ftw.. update every 2-3yrs and still have a more capable phone then whatever the newest iCrap can do.
And although you don't have to update every year, nor am i being forced buy Why would I buy a car knowing in 9-12mos there's not just a few parts but a whole other car. I won't argue with anyone who has bought into xray.. although you guys are a much smaller group, Xray owners seem to swing from a tighter rope than any other fanboys.
lol iphones...

Updating your car every year doesn't make you faster, thats Xray's marketing department telling you that. Cars update from time to time, a piece here and there, but there's a reason Xray is the only company that does it annually and it isn't because they know something nobody else does.

You don't like Xray cars and you don't want to own one yet you insist on posting on a thread regarding the release of a new Xray car

On my more heavily used cars, I kind of like it when there are updated kits. Doesn't bother me at all and who doesn't like to start on a fresh new kit? Rather than rebuilding a low quality car many times over (older associated cars).
Never understood peeps who refuse to buy a certain brand car because they update often.
