Racing SC with True Scale bodies

Just wondering if anyone (non-newb) has tried racing their SC's while running a True Scale body such as Proline's Raptor, Ram or Silverado? I think if you cut part of the back window and throw some holes in the bed, it shouldn't parachute too badly. Just would be cool to see them out there. They look pretty neat. Was thinking about getting a Raptor for my SC5m just to do something different. Would get it clear and still have it painted with my normal paint scheme. Has anyone tried, did it handle weird or did it handle fine? I run on high grip indoor clay. I'm just bored and tired of the current bodies out there. There's nothing new and exciting really. But I LOVE running SC. Thought this might just kind of make it somewhat exciting again for me.

I have a Proline Bronco body painted my colors and it looks pretty cool. Maybe one day I'll run it. But for now it just sits as shelf art.

raptor looks good, I put it on my narrowed 1/8 buggy to run 6s, which is crazy !

but actually, the body is too short to look scale, because of the short wheelbase. The 1/8 AE short course and the HPI 1/8 shortcourse look dope ! the wheelbase is 40mm longer and the bodies looks much more scale.

Anyone running 2wd SCT with a True Scale body on tracks? If so, how does it handle vs. a traditional SC body? I'm thinking about getting the new Proline 2017 Raptor body for my SC5m. I want to use it for racing too if it handles well, if not, I'll just use it for practice, I really don't want it to just be another shelf queen body, I already have too many of those lol But imagine this body painted with my paint scheme seen in my avatar!

Tried running a True Scale Silverado on one truck...replica of my wife's last truck. Don't do it if you're racing. I did some venting, but it was still terrible. I guess if you cut the whole back window out and most of the tailgate it might work so-so, but then it's gonna be really prone to destruction if you wreck. The JConcepts Raptor would be a better choice.

It's a good question I thought if trying it myself.. They definitely look cool.. Ended up with a Raptor Flotek though..
