Default D815 Electric Conversion

I did see Tessmann ran a D812 chassis w/D815 components, has anybody out there done a full conversion if a D815 to electric? If so what components did you use? I see the RC Monster has a kit out there, have not seen any reviews though.

There's info in the D812 electric conversion thread on the D815. Basically the RC Monster is the cheapestcheapest/easiest route. Mostly bolt in, and it works (though not the most aesthetically pleasing.) I use their motor mount in mine and source the battery tray elsewhere, then use the existing radio tray with some mods to hold the servo and ESC.

I'll say this- my converted car is by far my favorite RC that I've owned since I've been in the hobby. Its awesome.

Alright, did not think to look in that thread. I will check it out. Good to hear that it is a nice driving conversion.

Vision racing I believe has a kit for the D815 - it just came out.
