Why not order from ANSWER-RC in the UK?

HB204039 is the part number.

I just placed an order from Answer rc and the shipping is cheaper than usa-canada........ hahaha

or order direct from exotek.......
D216 FLITE TOP GEAR, 7075 - Exotek Racing
The link you sent is for the Top Gear not The Idler gear and The Idler gear is not showing on Exotek's website and is not available to be purchased anywhere in the US currently

Where? I have been on their site and looked at every hot bodies and HPI part they make and there is no idler gear for the d216 showing available.

Exotek does not make an aluminum idler, only HB. I have one that I would part with. I had it installed and ended up chewing up the diff gear so for me I didnt fix anything. It's much easier and cheaper to replace an idler gear instead of the diff gear.

TTR_RACER if you want it send me a pm with your address

Default D216 with laydown transmission?

Looks like Ronnefalk is using some laydown transmission on the D216 (if it can still be called that )

Hi All,

Help required for spur.
Need to run FDR 6 not any lower. Local Comp rules must not be under 6 for using 21.5 motor.
I need something like 72/29 or 69/28
Checked AE, TLR, Kyosho, X-ray and others they don't fit. HB slippers centre hole is 5mm and most of others are just under 5mm.
I've searched Exotek site but I can't find anything.
Anybody know any manufacturers that make same size centre hole as HB?

Default hb

i think you might have to use the exotek slipper eliminator they do
the 69 and 66 spurs which would be suited for 21.5

cheers rob

So I need to buy a direct spur mount and either the Exotek or Kimbrough spurs.
Was hoping someone made spur gears for HB.
Dame it. Why did HB choose to be different from most other manufacturers.

With a 21.5 I'd think you wouldn't want the slipper anyways.

from my understanding there should be a kit in the future to update the car to laydown. I'd expect a new chassis, rear tower and trans.

So. Not a new car all in one box just an update kit? Ball diff?
