Talking What fits Stampede and Slash?

Hi,
I am new to the hobby. I have a 4x4 Stampede, and 4x4 Slash.
Wanting to get some spare parts like tires and wheels and bodies.
Do other truck brand wheels and bodies work with stampede or slash?

thanks

Maybe I am asking this wrong.
Will other bodies and tires, from like Losi and other R/c brands work with traxxas slash and stampede?

Truth is you probably will have to dig through the stampede and slash forums to find out. Sometimes they have common part fitment right in the first pages, others you'll have to do some digging. Some of the best ways to find out are spare parts you have or you can borrow from your friends to test fit and make sure everything works correctly afterwards. Thats just my take. Sometimes bargain parts are worth it if you can make them work and be unique. I will say though that there are a lot of companies that make aftermarket parts for exactly what you are looking for.

If you are skilled at making things fit, you could pretty much use any brand body or tires. Its really a matter of if the stuff you put on your cars is functional. There is so much aftermarket support for Traxxas there really is no need to try and make stuff meant for other vehicles work. What exactly are you trying to do?

I was searching on ebay for bodies and tires. Seen some wheels and tires for a losing I think, they were 12mm hex so I assume they would fit. I also seen some bodies also for a short course truck that looks like my slash, so wasn't sure if they would fit stampede or slash. They were used items at a good price.

The losi scte wheels are a zero offset so they will technically it but it will be to narrow. So as far as wheels go you need the stick the slash specific wheels.
