I did mods to my 48.2 to get as close as I could to the .3 from what we knew of it and it made the car more stable for sure. This new package is going to be SWEET for sure!

Thinking this going to be my new buggy.
I've heard that the Tekno buggies have great wear characteristics... This accurate??
Any weak ppints that need upgrading out of the box???

The only thing needed is a metal servo horn. The Hot Bodies servo horns have the best fit. The cars do indeed have great wear characteristics.

I have 2 on pre-order :) might even bolt the truggy shocks to my buggy this weekend for a test run

Hoping and praying my local shop can get in on the initial preorders. I have a Tekin RX8 Gen 2 and matching 1900 kv motor waiting. I just need a good servo and advice on which 4S batteries. Never ventured outside of my 2S world.

Smc and promatch both have quality 4s packs at good prices.

What mah should I shoot for. I like to typically have 2 practice batteries and a race battery. Let me know if that's too many batteries for 4S, not sure if that's overkill.

I can get by with 4600mah. Most will run a minimum of 5000. Smc has 6500 and 6700's right now. Promatch has 6000 and 6500's. If you go with the 6500's you will have plenty of battery if you ever get an e truggy down the line.

I have 2 packs for each of my cars, but if I would only run one class I would have 3.

I'm getting this as my first ebuggy I was wondering what are the essential spares/upgrades needed and if anyone can advise on a good 1/8 ESC/ motor combo as I've only ever ran electric 1/10 touring cars any advice/ help would be great
