There is no plan for a new electric truck yet...so you'll be fine!

what about the 1/8 scale buggy.

Making 1/8 scale tires and rims now, has to mean something.

Didn't losi make monster truck tires first then the put out the lst?

By the way, I like that secondary bead to help eliminate blowouts and what not, really trick.

Rumor on the X-5 forum was that Losi is considering a limited run of XX-4 WE kits and maybe churning out some XX-4 parts.

Buy the MF2 if you want one. Why wait when you can have fun now?

You should get it now, why wait? There is always something better coming down the line. Batteries, ESC's, motors... the technology is always changing and will eventually be updated but this is what Ebay is for!

Losi, like every company, has to try new stuff to learn how to make their products better. That's not to say that Losi won't come out with a new truck or buggy (they will), just not soon.

Why not make 1/8th scale tires? That's one of the biggest markets right now and one company (Pro-Line) pretty much has a stranglehold on it. Losi's 1/10th scale tires are some of the best in the biz, so it only seems logical.

I heard the "new" xx-4 will be out by christmas

Aaron - I agree with that, and what you also said about the 1/10 tires, they are very good and I find myself using them all of the time. Gotta love the pink taper pins.

Well considering if they were coming out with a new electric chassis the 2wd buggy would surely be released first, with the truck following 3-6 months later.

Default From www.neobuggy.net

I copied this from the above website's news page. The wheel mentioned here had a tire that resembled a step pin with square block edges on it.

Offical Press Release:
It was only a matter of time before Team Losi turned their engineering and manufacturing experience loose on 1/8th scale buggy tires. The wait is over and once again the development crew at Team Losi have revolutionized a category with innovative design and race proven technology. Team Losiís all new 1/8th scale buggy wheels & tires are designed to exceed the need of high-speed off-road nitro racing. The LOSA7750 (White) and 7751 (Yellow) dish racing wheels feature exclusive proprietary materials for remarkable strength while the track-tested design offers the lightest wheels currently available. Both of these attributes offer improved performance on any of the current crop of 1/8th scale buggies.

The XX-4 has been rereleased, all Horizon dealers got an email on it the other day.....I don't think they are limited though....

Someone had spy shots of the losi guys running some 1/8th scale buggy....not sure if its a prototype, or they were just testing tires/wheels....

They did just come out with the Mini-Lst....which is pretty trick. Designed as a low cost option to get people into RC....

I doubt you will see the JRx4 from worlds......too radical and fragile...

The 2wd is due for an update, especially since so much was different on the nats and worlds cars in the rear (old tranny, cr pivots, etc)....

Losi never stands still......so always expect something new.....just remember, they only have so many people with so much time, so its gotta be one thing at a time....
