I love them, luckily they have only had around 20-30 cycles each so they still have plenty of life left in them yet

been busy with work lately, how things going everyone?

Anything new on the spring setup front with Tekno springs?

Looking to do full teardowns and rebuilds sometime next week. Moving to a new house mid August with a lot more room, heck maybe put a small section for a track too lol.

Default Setup helping hand

Hi guys,

Been reading through this thread and have changed over all the bearings and installed the Tekno springs front/rear. Running a rx8 combo 2250kv motor on a 20t spur. After playing around with the Hotwire I have it set to the mildest profile. Shocks have 40 weight rear and 45 front. Diffs are 5, 7 and 3. My main problem is that the truggy keeps doing wheelies, I have set the anti squat to 1 instead of the standard 2. Any help would be appreciated.

A 2250kv with a 20t PINION?!? Whooaa.. I'm running the 2000kv with a 16t Pinion and it's a rocket. With a higher kv motor you should be running a LOWER tooth pinion, probably around a 14t or so. In hotwire, throttle settings, turn the punch control down. I have mine set at 45. My truggy will pull the front wheels off the ground on a high traction track, coming down the straight but, I just control it with the throttle.

Thanks for that, yep 20 piņon. It flys but need to control the power output. You mentioned the punch control via the hot wire. Is that the current limiter you are referring to?
