No clue what's happening, I would really hope I am the only one this is happening to... If so, yes I would be curious to know WHY

I am honestly polite and well behaved, all communications were made very politely and "with forms". Appart from being in Canada and not being a full badge racer (Even though I used to race, I am a weekend warrior at best), I could not in the name of all that is Nitro figure out why this lack of answers.

I have been reviewed the thread and I'm curious if the front end lifting on you isn't a rear anti-squat setting or a center diff fluid too thick.

I have been working with Hobbico lately with an Axial Yeti front end issue and they have been nothing short of EXCELLENT....of course, I make phone calls and never email communication if I can help it.

Hi,
Hobbico sent me an email yesterday, they will send new springs. Meanwhile I ordered longer springs from another vendor.

You're probably right on the nose lifting, I used 7/10/3 for the diffs, I am going to try the recommended 5/7/2. If not fixing the issue, anti-squat it'll be!

any more news on how the vehicles are doing on the track as well as pics?

I am debating standardizing my vehicles on one platform as right now I have the ET48 and the DEX8. Unfortunately the DESC10 doesn't look like I'll get to run it as the two tracks no longer have people running 4x4 SCTs So thinking of giving the DEX8T a look.

Has anyone received kits that did not have the spring issue?

Did TD say what the issue is with the springs?

Default received my springs from hobbico

Just FYI - received my springs from hobbico today (from IL Chicago), pretty quick I'd say. And I can confirm they sent TD330782 84MM Blue (52 gf/mm).

I got some news from ape-rc that they are willing to make skid plates for the new durango vehicle line up if they have at least 10 interested parties.

If you are interested in getting these made, please send a message here:

Juste received my tekno springs, fit perfectly, a little tight on the collar but it fits. I ordered the green ones, a little stiffer than the boxed TD. Extra length allows me to reach the ride height of 40mm rear 38mm front (and have horizontal arms).
Still bottoming out a little but much better than with stock springs.

Also changed oil in my diffs from 7/10/3 to the recommended 5/7/2, this has not solved the nose lifting/plunging a lot on acceleration and brake...

Otherwise, can't seem to get this motor to heat, I am now up to 17t and hotest I have had after 15 minutes was 114F, esc 98F (Tekin Gen2/t8 2000KV) on 4S.
It has some speed/torque but I'll push to 19T and see how it goes from there.

Quick note, I ordered the 19T long shaft pinion from Tekno and unfortunately it does not fit, shaft hits on motor mount and can not go all the way in.

For spring reference:
