Thanks!
You wish it was the "Shock" (body) right? No, just the springs. I contacted whatever email listed for support on Hobbico and TD's site. I think it was the Hobbico guys that responded. So try Hobbico.

Sent a message to both, wait and see

Oh also, after my last run, lot of shock oil everywhere, I have to check what happened... leaking from the top.

heard of shock bladder issues, however, hadn't heard the why behind the shock bladder issues.

so as a general thing, bad job on shocks... springs too short and probably too soft, leaks... and still no answers from both hobbico and TD.
this is my first Durango kit, starting to get a bit anxious...

try this email as well:

[email protected]

Are there any contact numbers you can call? I think that works best.

Did you get an auto generated message for a ticket?

Yes received tickets, same I received from a week and a half ago... lack of trust there...

So, if there are issues with shocks (leaks and spring length/rate) this could explain why my nose is lifting up so fast, rear springs must be bottoming out.

As I am getting a bit anxious about TD Support, are there any suggestions for springs (longer and stiffer) I should look into?

I'l try and fix the leaking part tonight but if spring rate is too low piston must have a hell of a party in there!

this is based on fitment on buggy shocks, and if I get a chance I'll try actual truggy springs, but assuming Tekno's truggy springs are same or bigger in diameter than the buggy ones, they should work.

This is comparison is based on the fact that Tekno buggy springs will work on the Durango buggy shocks, they just have to be "snapped" on the cups a bit more.

I can confirm though how the truggy springs fit if you like on at least the buggy shocks as I need to work on them anyway to add the foam spacers for the bladders.

Called Hobbico directly,
Need to take some pics tonight.

Now I gave a quick look on TD site and they offer two length of springs, the 75mm and the 84.
I need to measure but I think they shipped the 75 (yellow) (http://www.team-durango.com/part-inf...artNo=TD330815)

I'll go for the 84 and see if that's ok (even though I don't think 9mm will be barely enough to get to a proper ride height...) http://www.team-durango.com/part-inf...artNo=TD330785

Now, thing is the 75mm is stiffer (80gf) than the stiffer 85mm (72gf)...

Found TKR6081/TKR6091 (90 and 80mm).
91 not available on Amain...

If you had the chance to test the Tekno, spring rating would be nice, otherwise I'll go "truggy default"

I'll check the fit. Do you need the spring rating conversion between tekno and durango? There is a conversion factor I used in the past that works I can see if I can find.

alright if I got time tonight I'll see how the springs fit the shocks.

did a little digging and from what I was able to find, the conversion factor when we did the hot bodies rates to similar ratings that tekno uses was .0559968 .

So basically take for example the hotbodies gray 76mm 52Gf springs and multiply it by that factor (or .056 for short) and it came up to approx 2.91 which appears to be right.

Here is what I was able to convert:

Code:
Part# Color	Length	GF/MM	Lb Rate
TD330778	Blue	70mm	68	3.81
TD330779	Green	70mm	75	4.20
TD330780	Yellow	70mm	80	4.48
TD330781	Red	70mm	85	4.76
TD330814	Blue	75mm	73	4.09
TD330815	Yellow	75mm	80	4.48
TD330816	Red	75mm	88	4.93
TD330782	Blue	84mm	52	2.91
TD330783	Green	84mm	57	3.19
TD330784	Yellow	84mm	62	3.47
TD330785	Red	84mm	66	3.70
TD330786	Black	84mm	72	4.03
Tekno spring rates for truggy appear to be stiffer in general assuming the conversion is right.

Tekno spring rates for truggy appear to be stiffer in general assuming the conversion is right.
Thanks you VERY much,

So based on the conversion the green "Tekno default" 85/90mm should be doing the trick, a bit stiffer than default TD one (and a better length).

Keeping this table/factor in my files!

Can't wait to know if tekno truggy fits. Given the state of things with current TD shocks, I am confident length will be good (I could use half an inch more spring without a problem).
Now to see if they fit

yeah, If they are anything like the buggy Tekno springs, they should fit, I may take a picture or two to show how well as it may be slightly more snug than the durangos. I know for a fact though that hot bodies springs won't fit, inner diameter too small.

I think jhautz said that kyosho's won't fit either.
