Cutting a Bulldog body for best venting on D8T-E??

Right now I'm using a couple old Bulldog bodies that were previously cut for nitro. I am getting a new body this season...and wondering if anyone has played around with different cutting/venting that will help keep an electric motor cooler. I'm in west Texas - so ambient temps are often quite high.

The vehicle is a D8T w/ RC Monster conversion. I'm not looking to drastically lower temps...but if a few strategic cuts lower temps by a bit, that'd be great.

I was thinking perforating the right half of the windshield area and maybe the right window and a few vents just above and just to the right of the motor can.

Thoughts?

The truggy bodies normally have enough ventilation even without cutting extra holes in the body. Are you sure you aren't over geared or have a binding issue?

It's not getting hot now. But...I do know that in 90-100 degree weather I need to run a 15 t pinion. In 60-70 degree weather I can run a 16 or 17 t pinion. Just thought if there was some "free" cooling to be had by cutting my body in the proper places - then it'd be a great bonus.
