Default how long last a nito .21 engine?


I been driving 1/10 off road electric for quite bit a time now and I'am getting into 1/8 buggy nitro now ...
I want to know how long last a nito .21 engine before die , even after a nice break-in and regularly checkup and cleaning....please

I bought the ultimate Nitro Engine tuning DVD wish is very good but short!
do you know any links for tips&tricks how tune nitro engine by chance

generally around 20litres i will be happy. u can extend the life by changing rod and also giving it a pinch, but what i find is that by the 20 litre mark, other things will start to fail like the bearings, and the crank pin will also be worn, o-rings will start to wear, etc etc

generally you use about 2litres per race meet, so around 10 race meets.

most important to keeping the engine last long is good air filter and air filter oil.... a 2 layer air filter is essential, with a change of the outer foam after every 20minutes racing.
