I was using Impacts and Subcultures when I tried the setup, I just got my first set of Cityblocks for sct in the mail 2 days ago.. I will give it a shot with those tires and see how it is. I really want to get that setup to work, since pretty sure every setup sheet for sct uses 15/15/10.... but so far 7/7/5 or 5/5/5 has been superior. I will give it a shot with cityblocks this weekend and see how it goes!

Hey guys- I recently bought my first Tekno car, the EB410. I'm so impressed by Tekno, I wanted to get rid of my TLR SCT and replace it with the SCT410.3. I heard this thing is a tank and wanted price it out. What are the MUST have upgrades if any? I also noticed its on sale on most sites. Are they making a new SCT? Thanks

It is probably here, but I'm lost. What wheels are good? Indoor clay? Ones that will not hit, and will hold up?

Many wheels work, you can find much of the info in the wiki at the start of this thread. Probably the best ones are the DE Speedline wheels, as they're made for the heavier vehicles like today's 4wd SCs. The best tires to put on that for indoor clay will vary depending on the clay. Ask the fast folks that are running there what they're using, and use the same thing.

If its anything like the buggy. You will want to ditch the shock cap bushes and use fuel tube. Alloy servo horn. Delrin shock guides and the extended spring perches. You will want to replace the plastic hinge pin carriers (abcd blocks) with the alloy blocks. From memory the tekno sct has issues with the front hubs because of the steer stop screw set up. So be careful of that.

The upper shock cap bushings are horrible. Theyre too hard, and they constanly flog the caps out (they do on the buggy because of the metal caps). Even with the m2c bushes (delrin), the caps flog. Caps must be too soft also. You use fuel tube as the cap insert. It allows smooth shock movement and doesnt cause the shock caps to flog out. You cut a small section to fit the stand off, fit the shock onto it and then fit your nut. Dont over tension as you will cause binding. Works a treat. After changing about 6 sets of shock caps in a short period of time, i went to fuel tube and didnt need to change another set. Alot of people do it. Alot cheaper than buying shock bushes also.
