For both Velcro and servo tape I prep with motor spray and blue shop towel.

I use a little hair dryer action in the winter when its cold a humid in my garage. Seems to help the velcro , and ds tape stick better

It is very cold in the garage, so the alcohol and preheat makes sense. By the way, it is industrial Velcro. I didn't know you should wait 24 hours to let it cure, thanks.
