Team Durango new vehicules in 2015?
2014, november 3rd... they wrote on their website:
We will release 5 all-new Team Durango cars over the coming months, including our exciting and innovative Patent Pending 1/8 Electric and Nitro Buggy platforms. These exciting vehicles further cement our commitment to a solid future of racing and development for Team Durango. Any news about that? |
Shhhh. They're too busy focusing on local racing to release anything new...

They are showing them at the Nuremburg Toy Fair now. I'm sure there will be something up on the regular news sites soon. Looks like the DNX8, DEX8, DNX8T, and DEX8T are pretty close to being released.

There going to screw up the line just like they did with the O'Donnell line of cars

They currently dont have a 4wd sct so that would be nice. Anyone got pics from the fair?

I just want them to get away from the aluminum chassis with bolt on sides trend. It's like everyone out there strives to be the obese kid and then obsesses over dieting. Go back to a 100% carbon fiber chassis with built in nose kick and then add the minimal things necessary from there. Go thicker at 4mm and never worry about breakage. 67 dozen screws in a chassis is just plain ridiculous! And for the love of god get rid of that crap bolt in front weight option in the 210. Weakening the chassis there of all places is a horrible idea! If you need weight for some unknown to me reason in the front of the car, find a different way to do it. A cutout in the chassis is a waste of design time. Figure these design elements out and THEN release a new car! I also see rc car patents as a complete waste of time when the fundamentals of the car are carbon copies of others geometrically.

Not sure. They are supposed to release new versions of their 1/10 2wd and 4wd buggy this year as well. The recently released Arrma Typhon buggy and Kraton truggy seem to share design and some parts from the new Durango cars. Hopefully that means parts supply will be decent when the Durango stuff is released.
The DEX210v2 is not even 1 year old (april 2014), I don't think they're going to release a new version already. |
The only thing they can do with the Dex210 V2 is what Fred said but its still a new buggy . Sure they could do one that comes with some upgrades in a kit .
The 4wd SC its not as popular as it was so maybe that's why there steering away from making a other model maybe. |

Honestly I don't care they don't have team drivers anymore. Team drivers doesn't make me any faster on the track. :) |
