Did you read the manual on the site? It mentions "Cougar KC/D", so not just a Cougar KD, but a KC too.

Perhaps the KC will be the car he ran at the DHL cup, the one with the motor swapped to face the other side?

Yes they did move the pivot and extend the Aarms slighlty but its all still 2-3 generations
behind everyone else. Comparing the durability of a kf2 to YZ-2 or B6 is not even fair. Let
alone something like an XB2 or 3.0 losi.

If they want to sell more cars they gotta stop putting crap like offset ballcups in the package
and using arms and pivot pins from a decade ago.

The question really is " Do they care about the US market" if they do and they want to stay relevent they had better
make some serious changes to the cars and there marketing.
I own an SV2 and KF2... amazing cars... no durability issues. What is the big deal w/ offset ball cups?

Its not about the opinion of schumacher faithful its about the perceived problems
that keep potential customers away.

EVERY person that I have ever tried to get into these cars says one of 2 things.

Yeah there cool but such and such had one and it broke constantly.

Or I run 17.5.

There is alot of things I love about these cars but the general RC consumer
views them as expensive, fragile, narrow focus cars.

The thing that's so frustrating is there not difficult problems to address.

Perceived problems are not really problems at all. Perception and reality are two different things.

I also have had no real durability problems with the Schueys. I think the weakest part is the molded 5 degree camber block. I broke a couple of those near the place where the main body of the block and the mounting hole tab intersects. But those were due to pretty harsh crashes. I wasn't surprised. I now use the alloy ones without issue.
