This is most likely. The 22SCT 2.0 also came out before the 22T 2.0 so if another vehicle saw a 3.0 refresh it would likely be the short course truck first. Plus, adding to that stadium truck still doesn't seem to be as popular as short course in most areas (although popularity seems to be picking up).

Having said all of that though, I run my trucks in rear-motor so I'm not terribly eager to get a mid-motor specific truck.

That's not what I want to hear
looks like I'll have to stick with the RT6 for a while then or find a good deal on a 22T 2.0

Just quick question, many people doing the shorty sideways on the 2.0? If so better or same same?

Ah OK, that was the way I interpreted it too. I would guess an SCT 3.0 is coming out this year.

Default Which shorty lipo works best for MM?

I just finished putting my kit together and noticed my BNIB SMC 4400 shorty does not fit. I even flipped the mount for the battery tie down to gain a little more clearance and it didn't fit. I am partial to REVTECH so my questions are, does the REVTECH (REV2022-5) Shorty lipo fit easily as well as the hold close properly as to insert the pin? If not what shorty is the majority you guys are using for MOD ST? Thanks in advance "D"

I like the Orion 4500mah 100C shorty, worth the money.

I saw a pic of a 22 2.0 rocking the revtech so I'm gonna try it, if not than that's my F1 battery lol. Thanks Mudcat, the Orion is on my list to try as well.

I assume you are talking about mid-motor. Shorty packs don't fit without a little modification. Rocket RC makes an extended mounting piece for the battery door, but I've also just used washers and turned the battery stop 180 to get room for a shorty. You'll also need something to keep the battery from moving side to side, I usually just cut one of the kit supplied battery foams in half lengthwise and stick one half on either side of the battery.
