. I took pix but I dunno how well you can see it.
CVA pin was probably backing out and cut into the hub carrier.

Yea that's what I think.. I replaced the hub, I'll keep it as a spare. I re thread locked the set screw that holds the pin. I probably didn't let it set long enough

Default 22t 2.0 diff help!

Hi guys,

I just finished assembling a TLR 22T 2.0 and the differential keeps slipping. I tightened it and comes lose again and again. I took it apart to see if I missed something while assembling but no luck. Everything just seems right, except that it keeps losening.

Any guesses on what could it be or were should I double check?

Check the diff as to which way it is installed.
Looking from the rear the bolt should be adjustable from the left side. I have had it installed the other way and have had it loosen.

How many runs? If only a few new diffs will need to be tightened after the first couple of runs. Or maybe the nut is bad, try replacing it.

Check the thrust bearings. If they are dry or have a bad ball, this will cause the diff to loosen as it wont slip.

I just put mine together but i have not run it yet. When i get some electronics for it ill do a comparison. Based on my experience with my 22 2.0 it was a whole different car when i changed to the exotek chassis so i expect the 22t to act similarly
