Looking to get into this class, and haven't read back through all these posts so I would bet most of my questions are somewhere but thought I'd ask and see if someone could help me out. Wanting to run in the mod class looking at SMC ESC and motor combo possibly the 120 with the 6.5 motor. Indoor well groomed nice clay track. It is a larger track for being indoors, it's not a small tight track. anyways here are my questions. First what are the necessary needed upgrades to help improve handling and durability, not looking for something just for the bling factor. Second what would be a good list of parts to keep in my box for track repairs. I have seen there were some bolt in brass weights for this is that necessary as well. Thanks for the help in advance.

Far as spares the common parts a-arms etc. Different spring rates are good to have for tuning oils etc.

That said...something like this will go a VERY long way with regards to wing durability: http://losiracing.blogspot.com/2015/...nting-tip.html
I spaced my two screws out a bit further than in the pic. On the next body I do I will use a 3rd screw/nut out in front of the body clips to keep the wing firmly attached to the body when the clips are out. With those screws installed the wing will go from lasting a few weeks to holding on for a few months. My last one survived as long as the body, about 4-5 months.

Just got a smokin' deal on a 22T 2.0 roller, looking forward to getting this bad boy up and running. It took me a while to get all (most of?) the kinks worked out of my 22SCT 2.0, but I think I'm getting better at this platform.

I prefer a shorty in midship, even in mod. Can tune with other weights pretty easily.
I run mine on top of the 2.0 waterfall bridge, as far back as possible while still being able to open the bridge and get the battery out.
