3-4mm? That is 1/8-5/32 inch, that is almost impossible if the kit is put together correctly? There is however some play, more like max 1mm. If you have more than that then you have something put together wrong.

I've been using the Spektrum S6040 in all my 22 vehicles. I think it's a great servo for the price, my only complaint is that it has a bit of a whining noise when force is being applied to it at idle.

One thing is for sure, it's better to have a little slop than a little binding so we error on that side slightly. Also, parts have tolerances, so you might just be at the end of the tolerance range. As for the driveshaft, that's a known (and corrected) issue. Contact product support and they'll get you straightened out on the driveshaft and shock mount.
Good point on haveing play over binding. I gave product support a call and they're sending new parts for all three issues. The guy I talked to also said the standoff issue is new to him. Other than those small things the truck was a blast to build. Thanks

I'd be interested in that swap. I have a brand new uncut and unpainted mm body. Pm me with where you are and we can see about shipping .

Hello, I have a question with this model. Is possible to mount a standard 2S lipo (large) with Mid Motor configuration?

Thank you boys!

I do not think so the only packs that will work with mm is saddle, shorty or brick!

I believe if you wanted to try you could do this.

Actually if you used the Team Losi Racing 22 2.0 Mid/Rear Battery Mount Set
[TLR231014] $15, you might be able to make it work.

If you cut the front bulkhead to allow the battery to extend through, and the hold down would hold the battery. Of course you would have to mount the RX elsewhere, to the side or near the waterfall.

Not sure what the weight distribution would do.

I would also recomend using the Exotech ESC alum mount.

I dont think I'd try to run a full stick in MM. you'd have a hot mess on your hands.
