Quick build question..... did you guys use the little plastic cap over the thrust bearing screw? I feel like it limits the amount of space to fit the adjusting driver into the outdrive between the screw and the axle. Is it just a dust cover/dirt cover? Anything critical?

It's not critical, but it also doesn't limit anything.

it helps keep the dirt out. personally I would put it in. gritty thrust bearings suck.

Who is US in your post? Is there more than one person in your group that can't drive or setup the truck per the build sheet?
Have you NOT run your truck yet to even feel what it might want from you as the driver. GO DRIVE THE TRUCK, and quit worrying about what someone else did. There has been plenty of people running what has been suggested and posted; and LOVED IT!!!! GO RUN THE TRUCK!!!!!!!

Finally finished painting the body and raced it for the first time this week. Even on the wrong tires it's the most fun I've had racing in quite a while! I'll never understand why short course put stadium truck on the back burner.

I'm ready for a new ST truck as it is the best class. Its between this one and that other one. I had the 1.0 and my biggest issue was the steering. Setting up the servo with the spacers and clearance issues was a major problem And I never felt like I could get full steering both directions, which is why I switched to the other brand. With the 2.0 and the new bell crank system is there still the same issues or is it easier to set up?

I can't compare to the 1.0 as Ive never had one. I can tell you that this thing has a lot of smooth steering. I can go full lock in both directions with 0 binding.

Sweet! Lookin good! I agree, I have to admit, when I was talked into putting my stadium truck to rest and going with short course, I should have known that sick feeling in my stomach was warning me stay with what I love. After driving around the short course truck and watching it move like a brick on springs I am so pumped to get the 22t 2.0 on the dirt in a few days. Soooo close to being done.

Is there a list some where if you want to convert a 1.0 to a 2.0? Thanks.
