I'd run a short, no brass for spec, or square/saddles with brass for mod.

I prefer standard springs on truck, which is what the truck comes with. Blue front, and yellow rears.

Frank, i'm pretty sure you answered this earlier in the thread, but still see it listed under specs.

Does the kit come w aluminum rear camber blocks and aluminum spacers? A main still shows both listed. And if true, does it come w aluminum RM and MM ones?

No aluminum rear camber block, and no alum ball stud washers. We felt it was more important to keep the price at $300.

Understood 100% Frank. Thanks

And I agree with your comments above as well, those are both solid upgrades for any kit that doesn't include them.

Default Maifield's Cactus configuration

There's some interesting battery / electronic configuration going on in Maifield's Cactus setup...

This was due to the SUPER high grip. I'd assume that he will normally run his ESC on top of the battery strap just like his 2wd has been.

*FYI - That is where I run mine at OCRC and SDRC.

I have a 2.0 on back order that will be my return into racing since the XXT days, SCR batteries and brushed motors. Looking at a 10.5 motor but needing to know what size pinions to start with? .

I was/am in the same boat but I bought an 8.5. I havent read anything about gearing change on the 2.0 so I assume (ya know what they say about assumptions) it's the same as the 22t. The 22t manual sais 19t pionion for for 8.5. For a 10.5 it recomends a 22t pinion (thats easy to remember..lol).

Is there anyone out there that can confirm if the 22t 2.0 gearing is the same as the 22t?

Yes, same drivetrain ratio.
