You use the same shims you would with the stock block.

Thank you for the quick response Frank - it's been a great build so far, and perfect timing for Christmas vacation!

Captain, there appears to be a distinct lack of 22T 3.0 information in this sector.

I don't think we will see one until mid-late January or February. Feature-wise I think it will closely resemble the SCT 3.0.

I just did the lateral short MOD on my 22T 2.0 and it's on rails now. I finally have it good setup for a technical, high traction surface in FL so the 3.0 should be out soon

What all parts did you use?I have 22t 2.0 with tlr aluminum 3.0 bellcranks, 3 gear ttransmission conversion (tlr kit not the one from 3.0 buggy). I have a 3.0 buggy and I know the whole rear is different and obviously the chassis. Was wondering if 3.0 sct front hubs/ steering knuckles would fit.

My 22T is pretty much box stock. The only upgrades on it are the +35g MM hinge pin brace, JC motor mount and aluminum front camber block. I'm also using the RM battery brace with two lipo post and exotek nuts. I have the 3 gear tranny but have not tried it yet; i love the 3 gear tranny on my 22sct

Default Exotek 22t 2.0 setup

I just converted the 2.0 kit to the Exotek chassis. I do not have the rear traction I thought I would have in the high speed turns. I think I have too much front grip. Anyone have a setup for a med-high bite clay track with the Exotek chassis?

This is what I was running on an smaller indoor clay track. Pretty much Frank's Stock Nats setup with some minor changes.

I sure hope so. We are now up to 3 X-Rays at my track and they are doing very well so far. Obviously the driver is a big part of that but after driving one I really do think it's a superior truck. I am equally confident, based on the overall success of the 3.0 platform thus far, that the upcoming TLR will level the playing field.

Do you think it will be laydown though? That must have something to do with the corner speed those guys have at MMR, aside from their skill.

I'm not sure. I've heard some theories but if I were to guess I'd say we'd be looking at something closely resembling the SCT 3.0.

The trucks you mention certainly can carry a lot of corner speed. When I drove one a few weeks back I was also impressed with how nimble it was without feeling like it was about to lose control.
