Thanks for the reply Frank, I've got another question though. The rear HRC pivot is only the rear toe-block, correct? Wouldn't you need a matching front pivot (front of the rear pivot) to actually change the roll center? Other wise you are really just changing the antisquat aren't you?

Well looks like my local track is trying to get stadium truck started up. Hopefully a 3.0 comes out soon so I can keep all my rigs TLR!

I am hoping to see a 3.0 in the near future but as the 2.0 just hit last year I don't see it happening any time soon.

If a 3.0 truck comes out and it's in the same vain as the buggy 3.0, I'll pick one up for the carpet track but for outdoors I'll stick with my 2.0's.

2.0 is discontinued on horizon now.

It is the toe plate only. You use the HRC antisquat shims to compensate.

It's also listed under legecy vehicles on TLR'S website. Any bets on the 3.0 release date? 10/27?

If I read the dates right, the 22 2.0 had a price cut/free add-ons about 1-2 months before the 3.0 was announced. So...

I have also seen that it's on the legacy section on tlr but with no talk of a 3.0 on any of the forums or losi pages I just don't see a new truck any time this year

I think this follows their (and the whole industries) past tactics. Discount, discontinue, deny deny deny, and here it is. Same thing with the 22 3.0, 22-4 2.0, scte 3.0,... b6, rb6.6... same patern. Gotta sell the old stuff first.

At least two cars in your examples actually did release alongside their predecessors: the 22-4 2.0 and 22 3.0. As it stands now you could buy a 22-4 2.0 (when stock gets replenished) or a heavily discounted 22-4 1.0.

I'm curious to see how the other 3.0 kits will address the plethora of chassis/transmission options we see now for the buggy. While at least X-Ray, Associated, and Yokomo offer two versions of their buggies to suit the racing surface, TLR requires you to buy the 'dirt' car and then spend a rather significant sum on a conversion kit (60% the cost of the car itself). For a carpet racer like me, a laydown 22 3.0 is an expensive proposition with a final price similar to a carbon-chassis Schumacher KF2.

I'm stoked for the 22T 3.0 because I think it could breath some new life into the class. I think we are slowly losing people to SCT at my local track and while that's fine for them, I much prefer the ST.
