Any suggestion on pinion for the HW 4700? Bear in mind, the 15t was used on the pro4HD. (another tekno driver running the pro4 4k is running a 17t pinion)
I ran a 14 on my 4700 .

+ 1 The 4000 is an amazing motor, never gets hot!! $90 price point is a steal ! The amount of usable power is unlike any other( note: usable power) :-)

Hobbywing 4700 with 14 pinion in scte is fast and doesn't run hot. If it's hot you either have too much timing in the esc or something binding in the drive-train.

What would I be losing by using a HW motor with an R8 Pro X ESC? Anything of consequence?
