Default New Team Associated SCB5?

Since they just came out with the T5m it should just be a matter of time till we see a new short course truck as its almost the same thing but longer. Has anybody heard anything on this.

When you see a Centro kit come out, it wont be long. Seems that every time they come out with MM kit, AE comes out with a new platform.

Funny thing, I believe they don't run much SC over in Europe. So that theory might be busted

Who knows. SC10.3R and a SC10.3M, just like the buggys and trucks.

I just hate the idea of 2 completely different kits for the same car. I like Losi's decision to make it standard with the option to build it one way or the other. Yeah, it drives the price up a little, but You have ONE car that could be run either way to suit the track or your driving style or what ever...

I like AEs idea better. Why pay for a mid motor kit if you want a rear motor car. How often does someone need to switch back and forth?

I figured they would have made the sc first instead of the stadium.

You are right.... How often do people switch back and forth. Not much because they would have to buy another kit.... I rather pay a little more to have that option right off the bat and go back if it didn't work/didn't like it what ever, than have to go out and drop $300 on another whole kit....

$300?? Not trying to argue but,

The B5 to B5m conversion kit is $70

The B5m to B5 conversion is under $50.

You can buy a B5M, and the rear motor conversion and still be lower than the price of a TLR 22 2.0.

Of course brand loyalty makes a difference, if you prefer TLR than the $30 difference is nothing. But I'm an AE guy, so I would rather go with the B5m and conversion than buy a 22 either way.

I would think now that the T5M has been announced, a new SCT shouldn't be too far behind.

Of course.... T5M was announced on the AE website literally the day after I finished building my T4.2FT.....LoL

I think their next release will be an SC10.? 4x4. Just seams to make sense since the discontinued the SC10 4x4. Maybe something along the B44.3 with three gear diffs and shafts.

No. It probably does not even exist in prototype form at this stage.

I don't think it will be called the SC105M, SC5M, or SCT5M since its not the 5th gen short course..

Nor will it be called a SC10.3 (3rd ver.) The T5M is based off the same platform as the B5M that why its called a T5M. The SCT5M will be based off the T5M platform. Any other name would not make sense.
