I bent a rear turnbuckle on my second day of running the car. It bent back pretty easily too. The car will have titanium on it next time out.

I've bent a rear turnbuckle too. I run Lithium and quite surprised the stock ones couldn't handle the lesser load despite a much much greater significance in weight reduction.

The stockers aren't bad or anything...but the Ti turnbuckles are for all intents indestructible. I still have my stockers in my box just in case, but now I mostly just tweak the rod ends.

I don't know what is going on in the USA but word on the 2wd is that it will be released first quarter 2007. Called the Ultima RB-5.

You can't say that there isn't any Lazer development going on, in the last couple of month they have announced/released two important upgrades (LAW33 Aluminum One-way Boss and LAW34 Suspension conversion) and a new roomier body LAB02. Wouldn't be surprised if more was on the cards as Kyosho Japan works towards the worlds in their home country.

The shock cap balls that slide on the shock tower bolt keep wallowing out on me and it's causing excessive play. Has anyone had this issue? and if so is there a fix?

Thanks,

I think they make a harder shock cap ball. I thought I bought a set from Speedtech, but just haven't put them on the car yet. I'd have to look in my spare parts box.

Who has the new body (LAB02)? Is it roomy enough for the GTB?
Who stocks it?

I saw one last week on John Whitman's car (he works for Kyoho USA). He had a GTB system in it... The body looked pretty nice, but kinda alien like IMHO.

I have tried with and without the rear sway bar on my ZX5 and I prefer with at the time. I seem to lose a lot of steering without it. However, I sometimes have too much steering so this weekend I am going to drop from the stock 1.2 to the 1.0 and see if I can balance things out a little bit.

I just want to post a little note about the Team Azarashi undertray It does not fit at all. it is a totaly different shape the chassis does not fit in it. the marking holes that are in it dont line up to anything. The only way that I can see this thing working is if you cut off all the sides and trim it so it is a flat piece of plastic and then put new holes in it so it will stay on the chassis. I expected this to fit like the old yokomo super dog fighter yz 10 under tray. You know fits the chassis right so the body will still go on and not let dirt and stuff in. THIS THING IS JUST A WAIST OF CASH NOT WORTH 2 CENTS or maybe it is good for some other car but not for the zx 5

Re: Team Azarashi tray. Look at this page of their website - http://www.team-azarashi.com/tipsuc.html

To fit the tray to the moulded chassis the rear corners need to be cut. Mounting screws to the rear and under the front bumper.
