So where are you guys getting your parts from?

I know about speedtechrc.com and obviously kyoshousa, but you have to call them. Specifically I'm looking for a new body kit, but they seem to be out everywhere I know to look.

So where have you found good places that have lots of bits for the ZX-5 in stock? I'd like to avoid the overseas shipping, so US shops would be great.

thanks guys!!

Default set-up sheet for ZX5

Mark , is there anywhere I can find a set-up sheet for the ZX5 ? My bud and I both have them and would like to record all our different set-ups a bit easier than pages in a note book Also how was the race in Japan ? and did you get anywhere with the K boys on the ZX5 ?

mremtr beat me to it. I headed to www.evolutionhobbies.com for the car and all of my parts. Right now they are running a special deal on the car itself. I've dealt with many online shops and I think evolution's customer service is really second to none. Emails are read and PROPMTLY replied to everytime I've emailed them. That's huge in my book when it comes to buying stuff online. On top of that, they will go the extra mile to get you parts when you need them. The usual shipping is priority through USPS (my favorite) and I get all of my parts from them in 2 days time (thats Maine to Missouri)! One time my friends needed the front brace to the ZX-5 (the one everyone breaks) before a big race, and they overnighted the parts to the actual track on the day of the race! Give Bob Cormier an email at [email protected].

Default My order

All my parts will be here on Monday, kits arrive a few days later and all but one are sold. My next order of kits will be about 3 weeks after that. Parts are constantly being ordered and we are adding more with each order. I am sure that between Steve at Speedtech and ourselves we can keep pretty much everyone happy. Yes, i mentioned the competition, and thats not a bad thing, lol !!

Default A quick note on ZX5

Just to let those know that the ZX5's have been shipped, here on the east coast they arrive 7 days after shipping from Kyosho. The blame does not lie with them or us, it lies solely with the shipper, UPS !!!! Please be patient as all those that ordered will get their orders shipped on the day they arrive.

Hi Guys,

We should be receiving another batch of car kits tomorrow, and a follow up shipment of car kits next Monday as well. Also, parts should be arriving this Wednesday too. Don't forget to check out our Titanium screw kit for the ZX-5 which replaces the kit philip head screws with titanium 2.0mm hex screws

Yeah, don't even try to assemble the kit without the hexs!!

Steves Titanium kit is a great deal, and saves weight.

As a slightly heavier alternative Tonys Screws have a set of steel for $20 for 180pcs, he always packs double what you need!!!

hop ups are a little thin on the ground at the moment. If you can find a kit in the US at that price I would get it. Kyosho have about 120 to ship at the moment, and MUCH higher backorder number.

Most places have already sold the ones they have coming.

Ebay is a good option.

I am looking for either a stock replacement chassis or the carbon composite chassis.

Can anybody direct me to an online store that might have one? Or perhaps one of you might have one NIP you'd be willing to part with?

Thanks to anybody who can help out!

ask atomic carbon
http://atomic-carbon.gforceimages.net/

I think they have a lot of CF stuff in the works for the ZX5
