Button head vs Cap head

Does anyone else replace button cap screws with cap head screws? I always have bad luck with button head screws stripping out and will replace with cap heads whenever I can.

Cap heads are a much stronger bolt.

I do. I hate stripped screws.

Yea, where I can I will...lower shock mounts, rear shock tower...basically if it doesn't have to sit flush I will. I just wish I could think of something to replacing the flat head or counter sunk screws at the bottom of the chassis :)

Something that rarely gets touched, no but if it's one I have to remove all the time, absolutely yes.

I use MIP tools... don't need to worry about it.

They're both cap heads. One is button and the other is socket. :sneaky:

I use cap heads whenever possible with a washer under them to spread the load like a button head.
