I have the 0 degree offset hubs on my car along with the 66.5mm axles. Is possible to use the schelle or MIP 67mm lightweight axles for this car? .5mm doesn’t sound like much but would like to know if anyone have tried.

I ran a 4 gear on the original YZ2 with brass rear front suspension block and brass rear ballstud mount. Plus brass front bulkhead mount and shorty all the way back. Car was good on high bite clay. I ran it a few times on low bite dirt and it was ok but not as much grip as something like a standup rear gearbox.

I'm running on medium traction dirt/ clay mixture. Just wondering what it would be like so Sunday I ran with a 4 gear trans. I't was hard to drive but I can get faster lap times with it.

I know the Schelle 67's are drop in with offset hubs....MIP stuff should be fine as well. I know the TLR bones fit in the Yokomo axles, but I'm not 100% sure about B6 ones, so might try the TLR 22 MIP/Schelle stuff.

Thanks, Ill be trying the Schelle 67mm shafts. I don't think .5mm will be that much of an issue....

It's not an issue....I run the TLR Spec racer driveline in my stocker, and they have 67mm dogbones.

It does not come with an alloy from camber link mount or front bulkhead...does include alloy bulkhead braces though.

Anyone happen to know what changes might be coming in the next YZ2? Still going to be a CA and DTM car? Looking to buy a new Yokomo but nothing available anywhere. I run on mainly black CRC carpet and attend a few races on a high bite indoor clay track. So I want to make sure to get something more suited for those.

I've used and sometimes still use it on low grip, slick astro. Run it lighter than you would the 3gear. Doing so helps with the fore/aft yaw the 4gear cars has. I don't go over a total car weight of 1540-1550g running mod with it like that. My high-grip car is sometimes north of 1600g for comparison.

alright did some assembly work here, will see how it goes for this coming race but I got the CA style rear upper mount assembly (the one with the holes all straight across) that has the weights you can add to it sitting here NIB, I was thinking of giving it a go versus the DTM style one. For current carpet setups is that one worth looking at or should I just get the DTM one in alloy?
