Man I really wanna get one of these, but I hate gear diffs. I would need a ball diff, but this idea of coughing up another $30-$40 after spending $350 is tough. That starts to be eighth scale money.

I see you own a b5m. I am sure you have placed as much money if not more than the kit plus the ball diff would cost. Honestly you would not regret owning a Yokomo kit. Better quality and this car has nearly all the hop ups you would need to buy on it. When was the last time an Associated kit was sold like that?

So I started the build last night. Let me tell you this kit screams quality. Fit and finish is amazing, and the car seems super light. It is a good feeling when you build a kit and it comes with everything you would want hop-up wise, even down to the spacers all being aluminum. There was not a single plastic spacer even. I just got to work so ill post some pics later on my break. The only thing i did end up putting in this thing was a ball diff and our ProTek RC ti screws. We will have a screw kit available for this thing shortly.

Atsushi Hara chose the YZ-2 for the Reedy Race, so I would assume it will!

Default Yz2

Mine shipped from Amian yesterday ...and I'm fired up lol the newest bmax 2 was amazing also so I sure this will do better ....and I wouldn't worry about the grip on lower traction tracks by comparison to the 22....these are 2 totally different platforms if you get a ball diff you should be good with the right set up 😃

Placed my order last night. Going to be hard waiting for it. Will the BMax2 blue springs work? I added them as well as the ball diff to my order.

Will my B5m wheels fit this car?

The associated wheels fit the other models so I dont see why they wouldnt fit this one. From my understanding you have to run the new springs for the yz-2.
