Has anyone compared the ne YZ side-plates with the older MR chassis, either the full Alum, or the V2 Bmax? do the holes line up correctly?

They are totally different and do not line up.

I am on the fence between this car (YZ-2), the Cougar KF2 and the AE B5M.

Racing indoor carpet high traction fairly technical track.

Any suggestions/comparisons?

On that kind of surface I think the associated is the slowest performing but also the best jumping and most comfortable to drive. The Schumacher is very fast but has a very small tuning window making setup harder. The Yokomo is somewhere in the middle of these other two. For sure it is a lot harder to drive than the BMax2 but for myself I always thought the Bmax2 was too lazy unless you wanted to compromise your rear traction.

cant go wrong with kf2 or yz. kf might be slightly easier to drive. I think the yz jumps better. Both cars work great on high traction carpet box stock as well.

If you want to help get MIP to make a 17.5 puck system. You should go on there facebook page and ask for it. Then like everyone else that say the same thing.

Has anyone tried any other bodies (RB6, 22, B5m, etc.) to see if they fit? I know its a long shot, but figured if someone had a buddy with another car they might have tried a test fit.

No way an rb6 body will fit. The b5m might fit with a lot of trimming around the nose

These will be the measurements I use for my notes.

EFFECTS OF TRACK-WIDTH ADJUSTMENT

FRONT TRACK-WIDTH
Wider
• Decreases front grip
• Increases understeer
• Slower steering response
• Use to avoid traction rolling
Narrower
• Increases front grip
• Decreases understeer
• Faster steering response

REAR TRACK-WIDTH
Wider
• Increases rear grip at corner entry
• Increases high-speed on-throttle steering
• Use to avoid traction rolling
Narrower
• Increases grip at corner exit
• Increases high-speed understeer
Remember it is not just the arm... Yz-2 uses a wider hex and recovers that width. So playing with both arms and hexes is an option!

While I love the body, it is hard waiting for them to come into stock at Amain. Wanted to send one out to a painter.

The hubs aren't the issue. It's the length of the dog bones of the YZ.
