Just joking mate, was just tickling the ole funny bone. Didn't mean to ruffle the Olé feathers. Give the queen my regards.

Honestly worrying about parts for this car is rather a bad reason to stop your purchase. Yokomo cars parts are rather durable. I think in the time I have been running them, the only time I replace a part is just to tighten up the car for a big race.

I remember back in the early 90's I ran a Yok MR4-BC Special and it was more durable than the XXX-4 which seemed like they were made of glass. Never broke on the outdoor blown out tracks and drove decently. To me Yokomo was always a quality product and I have no fear of a ruined weekend with the YZ-2. This thing seems beefy in hand!

Holy cow, I'm at the track. This buggy is really good. My first pack had no rear grip but was just getting the diff and slipper set up. Second pack more of the same, pulled it in and shortened the rear camber link to middle hole. Instant traction. The steering in really good better the my 22.

I wish yokomo would release rear sway bars for the yz-2 and the b-max2. I know they have them cause they can be seen on some of the factory drivers cars. As for the buggy ,it's quite good.

Also does anyone know what compound the yokomo type y tires are ? Are the ment for carpet ?
thanks

BM-412 is available at Amain and fits perfectly on the MM B-Max2. I read on oOple that AE B4/44 rear swaybars do also fit, but I did not try these.

The Y-profile tires are comparable to Pro-Lines Holeshot, but wear rather quickly. YTB Arena sells Schumacher tires for carpet and astroturf (Minipin/Cut stagger for carpet, Minispike2/cut stagger for astroturf, yellow compound).
