Not sure, but carpet edition should be shipped earlier or at the same time. Don't know about when Amain gets the kits though.

My friend swears blind that he saw the dirt version in hongkong. I seriously doubt it though.

Both kits are supposed to be shipped on the 31st. Then give a week, week and half, for delivery.

If I'm interested in having both versions of this car, just to be able to convert from one to the other.

Would it be better to buy the dirt version and buy the CA parts or vice versa, how much more would needs to be purchased or spent?

The chassis are different so there is a big chunk of change right there. Unless you race outdoors i'm entire sold on the idea that you need a dirt spec. Going to wait and see, as raising the tranny in my YZ-2 Original edition gave me all the rear grip I needed.

Honestly I don't see the need for a DT unless it's super loose. I run on a medium grip (at best)packed dirt track and the buggy is great in stock. Need to make a few mods but the original yz2 car is great.

30 degree front suspension holder...0 degree at the c-hub is a huge change to smooth it out.

Just to clarify, you are entirely sold on the idea of the dt spec? I am looking to pick one up but it's a tough choice, I like the CA but would like to be able to move the weight back a bit. I would only be racing on high bite clay, tracks like coyote and OCRC.

I thought the chassis were the same, just had some different holes added for transformation.

Default Buggies

Has anyone here driven the yZ-2, Xray xb2(ce&ode), and the b5m?

I'm curious to know the difference. Looking to get something different than my b5m and don't know which dorection to head. Usually drive at Ocrc and similar mid/high grip indoor clay tracks. Any help much appreciated! Thx

our track is medium grip and there are afew yz2, afew B5Ms, an xb2ce plus afew others... I have driven all 3.
YZ2s seem to be struggling to find a good setup, not saying it cant be done... Its yet to be done at our track. Car needs to be nursed around the track, but corner speeds are good.

The xb2ce is really tail happy. I driven it once and never seen it much anymore. Owner seems to be driving his other buggies instead, says the car is very loose.

B5ms are doing great on the track. Consistent and easy to drive with lots of steering.

I'd stick to the B5M but then again, I'm speaking from experience on my home track which is different from the kind of traction and dirt at OCRC. I'd wait for the dirt version on the YZ2 or go with the xb2de if you really want a change.

I'm having no issues with traction with mine on a medium grip track... I'm running stock, not tried mod yet. Does take a few tweaks but can be done. Ball diff, 30 degree front suspension holder and 0.5 degree hubs.

Bad news about the 3 gear gearbox. Been delayed until the 4th now. Shame. I was planning on getting it Friday and racing it Sunday! Ah well, just have to wait another week. I can't wait for it!
