Depends, it could last anywhere from 20 runs to 1 one depeding how you treat it .Gear it right, dont do runs over 8 min, keep it clean, and youll last awhile.I cut my com after 3 races or when it starts to misshape.I clean my motor after every race night and rebuild it.Its better to have a expert cut your com as their work is guranteed. You can go out and spend 150$ on a lathe and do it yourself.I know I dont make one bit of sence so go here. http://www.misbehavin-rc.com/pit-lan...intenance1.asp

ive found that the Reedy MVP is very good. its a faster motor, but gets a little more hotter. mines stays fairly average, but friends have become extremely warm.

I think the P2k is the greatest stock motor of all time...

super torque, and can be geared for high speed.
