Default hyper 7 shocks

i'm new to 8th scale buggies, and offroad altogether. i jsut bought a hyper 7 and it's got blue shock springs all around, and i don't know what weight oil is in them. i don't know what brand the springs are so i do'nt know their tension. my question is, whats the best setup for shocks on 8th scale buggies. i'm probably going to try 60 front 40 rear for oil. how stiff should the springs be? what about ride height? one more thing...generally how high should i be able to drop my buggy onto flat ground without it bottoming out? any help is greatly appreciated!!!!!!

thanks,
matt

I went to Kyosho blue springs, front and rear and 35 Losi oil in the front and 30 Losi oil in the rear. The oil in the shocks, if there is any, isn't even worth running. Junk it right away.

keep the blue springs on the buggy there're a medium tension spring. as for shock oil i use 50wt on my hyper 7 best way to to find out what wt. you will need is to run on the track and see the attitude of the car ..

my front shocks don't seem to have a lot of travel. it's about an inch. is this normal? i know it'll keep my nose from diggin in but how would it affect performance?
