I have,
Run a dual shorty pack setup, relocated the ESC forward on to the rear of the battery tray itself. Not sure if they'll be good for a 2s setup for you.
Added Ti links, screws (all but the motor mount, upper shock mount screws, chassis braces, hinge pins.
Run a RX8 Gen2 with 2050 motor
Race ready weight is 3434g
So you should be a bit lighter with a single 2s pack and either something like the T8i (indoor motor that's lighter than the regular 1/8th motor) or a SC motor.

I am headed to motorama for the first time this year. I'm not familiar with the track and I'm still learning a lot about setup. Typically I run the stock setup and make very minor adjustments as needed or recommended by other drivers. Would anyone be willing to give me some ideas to take down there with me to get me started. I am also going to be running my mbx7tr eco.

Id say start with Drakes base setups and work from there. Prescrub in some tires as well.

Also consider shock and diff oil weights and pistons, given that perhaps that time of year it will be a bit cold and that may affect their performance. Not to sure how warm the Barn will be in February.

I’ve been told it’s a little chilly in there. I’m am having a hard time finding Adam Drake’s base setup sheets. They are blank on the Mugen website. Will I find them scrolling through his Facebook page? Petitrc also does not have them

For some setup sheets I've seen posted for various cars/trucks one a few sites, sometimes you'll need something like Adobe reader to download the sheets to other wise it'll come up blank. Just a thought. I'll see if I can get one screen shot posted here.

That must be the issue. I only use my phone or iPad to look at them. I guess I will have to blow the dust off the old computer and give that a shot. Thank you guys very much

Last year Motorama was held during 70 degree weather and was very comfy in the barn. I pretty much ran Drake's standard 2016 setup, 5 weight lighter on shocks and 7, 7, 3k for diffs. Also more rear toe and more caster. I should have stayed with the 10k, 10k, 5k for diffs though.

For truggy, I ran the standard setup, with more rear toe as well. Truck was awesome. A main in Intermediate for both classes, 2nd in truggy, 9th buggy.

I also only ran Super Soft impacts all weekend on both. Gridirons may have been better, but with the limited practice, I stuck with what I was comfortable with.

Hit Drake up on Facebook. He's awesome. Super helpful guy.

Download the adobe reader app for your phone and iPad and you'll be fine, that's what I have on both of mine

No problem,
I needed that app for work stuff on both of my devices and stumbled onnto using it for setup sheets.
When you use a site that'll come up blank at first, you should have an option of (Open in...) prompt (sometimes touching the upper left side of the screen can bring it up) and then select the adobe icon Andy it'll open and display correctly, it could or may also auto download to your device as well. Could be a good thing or a bad thing. I don't mind it too much, but do go in and clear out stuff from time to time.
