Default Need 2s lipo recommendation.

Running an sct410 with rx8 gen 2 and pro 4 HD 4300. I've got some issues that I'm sorting out with Tekin now. But even with the issues I don't think my 5300 packs are going to last a 10 minute main. How big of a 2s pack should I be looking at and what brand? I that a Thunder Power charger so something that will work with that charger would be awesome.

Also just wanted to thank all the helpful people here at rctech. I haven't raced in so long I was out of the loop. You guys have been super helpful in getting my components and setup. I'd buy you all a beer if I could.

just make sure the charger is capable of charging Lipo's (which most chargers nowadays are)

My charger is a Thunder Power 610c so it's good for lipo.

Danny is a great guy and any of these work great! I have the top two in my own set of lipos! They come in inboard or deans

I run both of these in high load applications such as 4x4 SCT or 1/8 2s buggy for indoor tracks. They hold up great!

All my SMC packs completely out perform other packs with higher C claims, and higher Ampere Hours. Literally they are all good, and like said before Danny is a great guy.

I would use a 7000mah battery or larger. I prefer using promatch racing batteries. They have a 7600mah 90 c pack that works great for 4x4 sc.

Just get the hardwired pack and use Ec5 connectors. I would use higher quality 10g wire that can handle the heat that the 4x4 sc make. Make sure to keep the wires short as possible to keep resistance down which helps with the heat. Also use solder with 2% silver content. Will have a higher melting temp. promatch has good wire for a reasonable price too.

Jeff the owner of promatch racing would gladly answer any questions u have. Just call or email him.

Use both SMC and Promatch here in different vehicles and have been happy with results with both.

Also, customer service is excellent with both.

Personally I think that really is a big thing. You can find a variety of batteries out there that will work, some higher priced, some lower, but how the company stands by you after the sale I think should matter the most.

There are some name brand companies who's products I won't run as there warranty policies are not very good in my opinion, even though the product has been said to be good.

Honestly any of the batteries are great. I would recommend the prodigy touch 680 ($100) AC/DC charger. And Protek batteries are on sale right now. I would also consider the EcoPower batteries at a lower cost. And Most of these are in stock right now.
