Default ROAR approved 10th scale ESC's

Does an ESC need to be listed in the Roar "approved" list in order to use it at a sanctioned event? Or does it simply need to be in "blinky" mode regardless of whether it's listed or not? I ask, because the esc I'm planning on using at Cactus next year in stock buggy and superstock 4wheeler is not listed. Thanks in advance gents.

I may be wrong but almost positive you have to use something from the list.

Correct, it needs to be on their approved list to be legal at any of their events.

I agree that for Stock/Super Stock, the ESC would need to be on the "Roar Approved ESC List". I would like to know if you need to have an ESC from the list if running "Modified" at a Roar sanctioned event.

I could be wrong, but Cactus is not a ROAR sanctioned event. They might follow some rules based off ROAR. Most of the time they are just looking for the linky light. As long as your ESC blinks you are good. But to be sure, check with SRS Raceway on their rulings

Thanks a bunch gents. I'll call SRS and get more scoop from them. Again, thanks for the info.
