So today was run day...
Tires were glued 2 times the max i can and survived...
-20 minutes continuous on a 200meters straitgh road. Not bad hein? I can gear this to 30T with no heat for a full pack!
-New wing
-Total weight = 4.2kg
-Lipo was still in 3.8v after those 20minutes!
Need T-Bone bumpers and a 30T pinion now!

Looks who's hear
Nice job targetingxmod ,just get your self a set of belted road tires (grp, pmt,sp) since you bash on asphalt .
What about a 7s set up ,i hear motor asking for more rpms...
Waiting for the 30t pinion test on your mp9 (...

For what i see there is no damage.... just pop off spindle/carrier!
But i have no idea how to put that alloy spindle/carrier into the plastic knuckle 2 holes.
It got 2 screws that are bigger and look they must be unscrew but i can't unscrew them... need to read the manual and find out..but for now it's dificult!
Any ideas? I do not want to force the plastic knuckles cause it may break!

Ok, so after a closer look and relaxed look at it...
-Unglued tire.. No problem! Fixed!
-First stress was how to get those screws out...cause they seen one piece together...I thought of heat but there is a plastic piece in there. So applyed brute force and it gave... yeahhh.
-Then since hands on job, why not clean those bearings since they are out? They are sealed and not to be open but as pic's show... (those are from the second hand chassis so i need to know what i am getting into by me, and correct it right at it!)
-The metal cap was hammered and corrected where the "hole" was made to remove! Later on the next pic!
-Lubed and closed! I prefer doing this then buy new, if they are good why not kept my "euros" in pocket?
-I had trouble figuring it out if this is loctite or is a piece together... after all is "loctite" that needed to go...
-A little help of the hammer to get it out...
-Yes... out! Now i understand how is it
-Second with heat, was removed more easy!
-Removed the rest of loctite with a pin on the screws!
-And now it can be mounted!
-One screw on the steering was crooked, but a new one is in there now!
All good! Thanks to me

You are so great! Happy to see damage is only minor, could have been way worse.
Posted this in the MP9e thread, but thought it might be useful here too for anyone interested reading along:
Got my Fly Ratio spur today in the mail, so thought I'd post here for future reference. Not completely sure about compatibility with the MP9, but here's the spur mounted on the KYOIF103 Inferno diff case:
Here same IF103 case with KYOIF148 spur:
So just needs a little shimming on the bearings. Also needs non-countersunk screws:
Hope that helps. Cheers!

Question to the pros using a MP9 either nitro or Electric.
Spur for the center diff. What is the smallest we can fit on the stock diff plastic house without any mod!
I only see 46T & 48T. Is there any 40T or 42T spur that can fit right?
Report brand and model if any!
Help!
Thanks!

It will defenitly help on the growing quest for more speed out of it!!
Just need a Inferno VE diff cup and that 35T spur!
Thanks.
Starting to think the 5s Xray 808e is way to slow and leaving that for bashing
December will be the month that a new "bird" will come home so few parts will be bought that month...

I'll let you know how it goes. What I don't like so much about the Fly Rato is that I think it's quite thin for a spur gear: 3.5mm, compared to normal 4 mm; so will be a bit harder on the pinions due to less contact area. Before I try, I still need to do the 1/5 GRP tire mod on the axles though... got a bit distracted with a future project (no Batmobile 8ight, but a "crash-and-burn?" 56mm motor Kyosho GT2).
Anyway, did you check the kv of your motor already with the Torque test on the MM2 ESC? I guess it's a ~1500 too; I asked owner of the shop if mine was a mix-up, but he said it wasn't and that he rates the kv for this motor under 200A load - which is a bit strange to do, but I'm actually quite happy with it, given the limited 8-10S ESC options.
With your stock spur and the 34T XO-1 Traxxas pinion, ~1500kv would already get you around ~163 kph no-load, nominal voltage, unballooned, wheel-speed on your (~116 mm?) buggy tires. I don't think your tires will stay on long enough to reach that speed though. Like Koval said, you need GRP tires man - ok, it can wait until in January . They're smaller though, so then you need to gear up again. With the 97 mm GRP tires, 34/46 gearing yields 136 kph no-load nominal, so then you probably do need the 35T spur.
Funny you opened up that URC thread again btw, other one got closed due to some mud throwing, entertaining though .
