Default ERG-VR servos for 1/8 Buggy?

Is it OK to use Airtronics servos ERG-VR for steering and also for throttle for a 1/8 buggy? (Those servos were from my old 1/8 on-road)
My LHS advised ERG-VBs. Thought I could avoid incurring further start up cost for a 1/8 buggy.

If these are the same as the 94357's you should be fine. I know guys that use them and they are plenty strong.
